Auntie Lora

Mommy was so excited for Auntie Lora's visit to our home. Brycee "LOVED" Auntie Lora. He clung and cuddled with her the entire time. After she left Bryce said "I love my Auntie Lora". Blake asked him "What do you like about her?" Bryce responded "SHE IS SOOOO PRETTY!"

Thank you Auntie Lora for making our mom's weekend!! She had so much fun. The Sprinkles Cupcakes were the BEST! We love you!

Friends

Let me tell you.....these ladies have brought so much THERAPY to my life! Their friendship is truly a gift to me!! And to Blake, because he doesn't have to hear as much "monku" from me.
Teri won free facials and makeovers for us all. It was so relaxing and fun! I only included the before picture....I didn't like the after picture! TOO much lipstick!!

What was that??? Who is the guy drinking coffee?? Isn't this supposed to be a girl only outing??? YEAH we were wondering the same thing : ) What can I say....Glen is hopelessly in love with his wife Renee. Has to be with her everywhere she goes. hahaha!

Thanks girls for your friendship and love! I am one lucky girl!!!
Oh yeah thank you to the grandparents....I would not have been able to have this outing with the kids in tow ;)

Tyler and Dayna

We posted some pics of Tyler's visit to see his buddy Dayna and her family.  The two were born three weeks apart.  Their mommies shared lots of advice while pregnant and after the birth of the 2 first borns....

Tyler continues to speak fondly of Dayna to his friends.  So amazing that he still remembers her, since we do not see them often.

Mommy's boys

This morning mommy had to go to work for an hour. When she returned.....the boys were ready to go to the Fish Hatchery. Apparently they wanted to dress like daddy. Shirt, jeans, shoes and hat!

Tyler and Bryce sported their birthday shoes from "cool" Auntie Kristeen!

Reunited Buddies!

Tyler received a special treat while visiting Grandma and Grandpa in San Jose. When daddy got home, he took Tyler to Dayna, Kayla and Brent's house for dinner and a playdate! Sooooo lucky! I heard the kids terrorized poor Kayla :( Sorry sweetie that Bryce wasn't there to stick up for you.

Thank you Uncle Todd and Auntie Michelle!

Nana this is for you.....

Brycee got to go with mommy to a Kings game. Compliments of NANA. He was so excited he was walking around with his Kings' jersey on.....chanting...."I'm going to a King's game...kacheeka..oh yeah...I won" Sorry for the video...I tilted the camera.

At the game, Brycee would have made Nana proud. He was yelling "defense" and pumping his fist in the air when they scored. The Kings went on to win the game against the Warriors 115-98. I had to look up the score on the internet....NO way can Bryce sit through an entire game. Tyler on the other hand has been going to games since we was 3 and never had a problem sitting through an entire game. Opposites!

hashi wildness

these two must be cousins : )

Our Cool Boy Cousins!!!

Today we had a visit from our cousins in San Jose. It is Daddy's cousin's kids : ) Darlene and Blake used to be buddies when they were young....played with rollie pollies....took baths together : ) hahaha.

We had so much fun today....we went to Tyler's soccer game, the train museum and then to our house for lots of craziness!!!

After they left, an exhausted Tyler asked "Mommy how come we don't get to see them more often if they are our cousins?"......sigh

Thank you COUSINS for all the goodies and making today a special day!

Daddy's basketball - video by Brycee

The boys love to go and watch daddy play basketball. Bryce even took a little video tonight. He said he wanted to put it on his BLOG so I had to let him.

BEWARE you may get a little dizzy....and confused :)

I think this was the first game they won all season.

another Bachan masterpiece

Obachan made another beautiful quilt and pillowcase for Tyler. NASCAR - #24 Jeff Gordon!! As you can see they both serve their purpose....nice and comfy for a good nights sleep.

We are grateful everyday that our boys have two great grandmas and 1 great grandpa. Brings tears to my eyes everytime I think about how lucky we are. The boys are even more lucky, because bachan and jichan live with Nana and Papi! This has allowed the boys to get to know them even better!

WE LOVE YOU BACHAN AND JICHAN!!!! Thank you for all that you do for us!!

We are very proud of Nana and Papi too: ) Guess they are teaching us how we need to treat our parents and families. They took care of Papi's parents until they passed away. And now they have Nana's parents living with them. Bachan did the same with her mother too! FAMILY is the most important thing there is! Everyone makes a sacrifice but it is worth it for family.

Papi and the boys

This year the boys had a couple of opportunities to dress up. Tyler was Pikachu and Bryce BUZZ LIGHTYEAR ....AGAIN for a party they got to go too. For Halloween night they decided to change it up a little and chose repeat costumes! Tyler was Jeff Gordon and Bryce a Power Ranger. Works for us. The only costume we needed to buy this year was Pikachu!

Papi spent the weekend with us. It was a nice visit. Nana was in Vegas for a bowling tournament.

Den 9 - Halloween Project

We hosted Tyler's den meeting for October at our home. That meant planning a scrapbooking project and putting together a project for the church Halloween Party. We decided for simple and made jack-o-lanterns. The boys finished both projects in less than an hour!!

Future Sacramento Kings Employees.

Bryce and his friends have so much fun together while their older brothers play soccer.

The Fish Hatchery

Over the weekend we visited the fish hatchery.  Like his father, Tyler loves this place.  It is relaxing and the kids have fun feeding the fish up close.  I forgot my camera, but we have been there so many times....  I had plenty of pictures stored.

Since I grew up only 10 minutes away from the hatchery, I love that my kids love it there.  The place has not changed at all over the years.  Fish food still costs only a nickel.  There are rows and rows of cement tanks filled with baby steelhead.  My family used to ride our bikes along the the American River bike trail from our home to the fish hatchery.

Next weekend is the Salmon Festival.  That is when they open the ladders gates and the salmon begin spawning.  They jump the ladder to the fish hatchery where workers remove all of the salmons eggs.  It is pretty amazing.

picture 1 - salmon up close in the holding tanks waiting to die :(

picture 5 -One year we went and you could see all of the salmon swimming up the river.  Look at all of the fishermen lined up (year 2006).

Bryce's playdate

While Tyler was at his Cub Scout event. Bryce had a couple of friends over to play. Justy and Chase came over to make pizzas, play at the park, play in the backyard, play a couple of boardgames, play on the Wii. It was a fun time! The boys were so good and all got along well without their siblings around ;) All 3 boys are the youngest. Well Chase was the youngest until a month ago :) Now he is the middle child. They are GREAT kids and have wonderful families.

Justy's family is a family we met when we moved out to Elk Grove. Blake knew Glen, Justy's daddy, back in San Jose when they were both young ;) Renee, Justy's mommy, is just one of those people you instantly can connect with. She makes everyone feel so welcome and a part of her family. We are sooooo lucky to have met them, because they have contributed A LOT to our happiness and making Elk Grove home for us!! We love you KUMAS!!!

Eddie - Our Pet Crawdad

Here he is!! EDDIE (Yes the boys named him after Papi)!!! The newest member to Tyler and Bryce's fish tank. When Tyler asked if he could keep him, we thought this guy would definitely not survive. It has been 2 weeks now and he is still keeping the boys (including daddy) entertained. He is actually more fun to watch than the fish.

Tyler the Tiger Cub Scout

Today was one of Tyler's 1st main Cub Scout events for Pack 50. Daddy took the pictures at the event, since mommy stayed home with Bryce and his friends. At Camp Pollock each Den did a little something. Nice video daddy!!! Chopped off your own son ;)

Good thing Uncle Glen stopped by our home before Tyler left. He helped us amateurs with dressing our son. Tyler's neckerchief looks GREAT! THANKS UNCLE GLEN!!! Mom and dad were clueless.

Tyler's group was awarded the "quality" award. And they received their Bobcat badge. And some other thing, but I don't know what it is ;) All it means is that mommy has to sew them on.
