This was a first for the Takaha family. Blake was never a cub scout so this was definitely a learning experience for us. And we procrastinate, so everything was done on Wednesday night...only because of the weigh in on Thursday. Then on Thursday night .....only because Ty's skateboard only weighed 2.45 oz and wouldn't go down the track ; ) We didn't know you were supposed to attach weights.
In the end it was a lot of fun for Tyler and that is the best part. And actually he didn't do that bad. He came in 2nd out of 3 on every run, so that is better than 3rd everytime. The cars that people had were AMAZING!!
Tyler wanted to do a skateboard this year, but shared with us NEXT year he will be making a car :) Guess we will be in Cub Scouts for another year. Blake is soooooo excited (just a little sarcasm).
Notice the Den 9 group photo. Bryce decided he should sneak on by and pose for the camera too. That kid is WILD! But we love him.
