Jan Ken Po gakko started this week and it has been such a positive experience. Our friend is Tyler's teacher....Sensei Ellen. Sorry Ellen, but I have to put history here..... Ellen's grandfater officiated the marriage of bachan and jichan in camp and Ellen's father officiated the marriage for nana and papi.
Anyways....Tyler or should I say Akio is loving Jan Ken Po gakko. He is learning his colors, numbers and body parts. He sampled and made different foods this week. Today they had games at the park. It was a lot of fun!!!!
Below is a website that has pictures that Sensei Ellen took during the week and at Undokai
Thanks to Auntie Margie, Tyler has the Hashimoto family mon for his t-shirt. The mon is supposed to follow by gender. So technically the boys should take Blake's dad's family mon. Unfortunately they do not have it. So luckily Auntie Margie took a picture of jichan's father's tombstone while she was in Japan. On the tombstone was the Hashimoto family mon. That is what the boys will use. (in the picture attached......Tyler is on the left)
