Today was Tyler's last day of kindergarten. Tyler's teacher had a special water day filled with Water Ballon fights, sponge games, watermelon, ice cream, bubbles, squirt bottles and lots of SMILES and LAUGHTER. I will post some pictures later. I was a bad mom and FORGOT my camera :( Brycee was able to join in on the fun filled day. He soooo wants to be in kinder!!!
She presented each child with a nice art work that had comments from all the class mates....

The Circus part 1
Tyler's kindergarten class performed a circus full of lions, elephants, strong men, ringmasters, tight rope walkers, clowns and most important!!! TIGERS!!! ROAR : )
Instead of kindergarten promotions, the teacher has the children perform a Circus Act! It was amazing and so much fun for the kids. This was their 4th and final performance this year.

Fresno - Tyler's basketball tournament
Tyler attended his 2nd basketball tournament. He played in this tournament last year when he was 4 and LOVED it!!! It is so much fun for the kids and the parents. They are so cute out there.
Last year Tyler enjoyed, defense, dribbling and passing. This year he actually scored some baskets and had LOTS of fun.
Here are some videos. Tyler is #13. In the 1st video Tyler makes the very first basket, played a little defense and fell : ) hahaha.

Pictures from Fresno
Brycee made a new friend. He claims he will be marrying Alyssa. The line that Brycee used to start their friendship together at John's Incredible Pizza.... "HEY don't talk with your mouth full." And that is how the friendship began. Tyler's best bud Brady visited from Seattle. It will be awhile before we get to see him again. They had a great time together.
Papi joined us too. Nana was on a cruise with grandma.

yippee!! put a check mark next to tying shoes
Tyler has finally mastered the art of TYING his tennis shoes!! And I am proud to say that he learned from mommy. Daddy started the teaching back in October when he received the "tying my shoes" homework box from kindergarten. We went out and bought him shoes with laces so the teacher would think we were working on it at home. Which we weren't. We even triple knotted it so they would not come untied and his teacher would not think we were bad parents :) Well I am sure she knew he was not able to tie his shoes when he was going up to the other kids in his class to ask them to tie his shoes for him ; ) hahaha.
Well he can now be one of the kids that can help his friends tie his shoes!!! He even knows how to do a double knot now. Funny how once they learn it they learn it :)

Bryce's soccer game - SilverBullets
Bryce's team color is silver so coincidentally his team is called THE SILVERBULLETS. Blake liked that ; ) since it was his old basketball team.
Bryce had his first game of the season today. He is #7. He had a lot of fun and didn't complain this year about being soooooo exhausted.
Brycee is the one running with the ball .... at least for a little while : )

"Mommy! Brycee said a bad word!"
Ok...this is how sheltered my boys are. Tyler thought he caught Bryce doing something really bad. "mommy brycee said the B word and the SH word. ooooo Bryce you are in trouble." I went over to talk to them to find out if they indeed knew those words. I asked Bryce "What words did you say?" Bryce hesitantly responded "shush and be quiet"
Parent Volunteer Tea
Tyler's school had a Parent Volunteer Tea for the parent volunteers. Each grade level did a performance of some type. They had dancing, songs, cheers and quotes about parents. It was such a special surprise. Unfortunately I had NO idea they were going to perform, so forgot the video camera. Amazingly I was able to get Tyler to do part of it for us at home.
Uhhhhh yes....that is his Elmo GROSS nene in the background that he had since he was 1 year old. Which reminds me..... They had to write a sentence about if they were president what would they do. Tyler's response was "give everyone a nene" : )
